ERIKKILA IN A STRONG GROWTH

ERIKKILA –group ended its financial year on 31.3.2007 in strong growth. The turn over of ERIKKILA-group was 6.972 t€ (5.253 t€), which is 32,7 % more than during previous financial year. Also the profit increased by 35,8% being 480 t€ (204 t€). Sales through distributors increased approx. 50%.

At the same time ERIKKILA-group invested significantly to the expansion of especially production facilities at its plants in Masala in Finland and Tallinn in Estonia, but also machinery- and equipment acquisitions. The total value of the investments ended up to 931 thousand Euros. In September 2006 ERIKKILA-group moved the PROSYSTEM^® -profile based jib crane production from Estonian subsidiary to the expanded production facilities in Masala, Finland.

To strengthen its position as the leading light crane- and lifting equipment manufacturer of the Baltic Sea ERIKKILA founded a subsidiary in Ängelholm, Sweden, in October 2006.

Future prospects of ERIKKILA

ERIKKILA will develop its business around Baltic Sea –area especially on the field of light personal lifting equipments under 300 kg by offering its customers tailored solutions for demanding assembly tasks in automobile- and machine manufacturing industry. The fastest growing markets of ERIKKILA are in east and in the former IVY-countries. The competitive advantage of ERIKKILA is especially delivery times, customer tailoring of products and turn-key deliveries.

The turnover and profitability of ERIKKILA are estimated to grow also during the financial year which started 1st April, 2007.
